I have always enjoyed drawing as part of my artist practice and wanted to develop my digital illustration skills by creating a series of illustrations that would work well as artworks to create framed prints. Due to the abstract, dark style, I also thought it could suit an editorial piece that delved deep into our understanding of plants.
